I remember a time when we used to pass notes, write letters, and wait by our home phone for a call. In today’s society the way we connect with each other has changed immensely. The internet has not only changed the way we associate with one another, but the way we think as well. It has surrounded us with many different social media sits, allowing us to keep in touch with each other, share pictures, thoughts, and even our own locations. The internet is so powerful we continuously see what is going on in everybody else lives, and are able to be aware of one another personal relationships. This is done by a very popular trend called â€Å"relationship goals† that has been displayed all over social media. This trend has been basically portraying perfect couples by posting pictures and videos of themselves showing off by cuddling, kissing, sharing screenshots of cute messages, exchanges of expensive gifts, surprises and more. In modern culture, I feel as people are getting i nto relationships all for the wrong reasons. They want to have a connection with someone just to flaunt to others online, which can then lead to jealously of the viewers. I sometimes do wonder, with what the internet has to offer and what is being portrayed as â€Å"goals† and â€Å"perfect† these days, does social media affect relationships?
